Funtana is a small village on the west coast of Istria, located between Poreč and Vrsar. But this small place is very popular among camping enthusiasts. Some of the most popular campsites are located here, such as Campsite Valkanela, which is located next to several beaches, including sandy, pebble and rocky beaches, with plenty of shade in the pine forest. There is also a large swimming pool complex within the camp, and activities for all ages are organized during the day as part of the Fun&Sport program. Funtana is also home to the year-round Istra Premium Camping Resort, one of the Croatian campsites to receive the prestigious ADAC Superplatz 2024 award for excellent quality. The campsite offers various types of accommodation, from pitches by the sea to luxurious camping villas with private pools. In addition to campsites, Funtana also offers beautiful beaches, hiking trails and the Dino Park amusement park, which children are sure to enjoy.
The island of Krk is the northernmost Croatian island, and thanks to its proximity to the continental part of Croatia and its connection with the mainland via a bridge, it is a very popular destination for summer vacations. Thanks to its walking and bicycle paths, it is particularly popular among recreationists, with one of the most interesting trails being the Glagolitic Alphabet Trail, where you can visit monuments in the form of Glagolitic letters and get to know a part of Croatian history. Amadria Park is a campsite located in Trogir, a historic town on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Its monuments, cobbled streets and old buildings will certainly appeal to all history lovers. The campsite itself is located not far from the old town center and is surrounded by a thick pine forest, which is ideal if you want to enjoy nature during your vacation, but still be close to everything the city has to offer. Choose one of the pitches scattered around the campsite but still close to the beach, or opt for a more comfortable vacation in a luxurious mobile home right next to the long pebble beach. Near the campsite there is a promenade where you can take a pleasant evening walk around the peninsula where the campsite is located, enjoying the scent of the sea and the view of the Trogir bay.
