Although some campsites close their doors shortly after the summer season, there are many campsites in Croatia that are open all year round. Where is the warmest place in Croatia in winter?
The Adriatic is the warmest in winter. Temperatures in Dalmatia are around 7 °C, and in Istria up to 4 °C. Winters on the coast are mild and pleasant, while in continental Croatia it is significantly colder. Are the swimming pools in Croatian campsites heated all year round?
The swimming pools in the campsites are not heated during the whole season. In some campsites, the pools are heated exclusively in the months before and after the season (May, June, September and October). In some campsites, some pools are heated and the temperature reaches approximately 28 °C. Of course, the pool temperature itself depends on weather conditions (rain, sun...) as well as the air temperature itself. Not all year-round campsites in Croatia have wellness services. Year-round campsites with wellness services: Campsite Park Polidor, Campsite Porto Sole, Plitvice Holiday Resort, Campsite Amadria Park Šibenik, Campsite Stobreč Split, Campsite Terme Jezerčica and Campsite Vita. Other campsites that are open in most cases from April to November: Campsite Kastanija, Istra Premium Camping Resort, Campsite Mon Perin, Campsite Papafigo, Banki Green Istrian Village, Floria Glamping Garden, Krk Premium Camping Resort and San Marino Camping Resort. The wellness service in most campsites includes: saunas, jacuzzis, spa treatments (different types of massages), and some also have heated pools or spas nearby. Wellness services are not included in the price of stay. These services can be additionally booked on the spot in the campsites, they cannot be booked in advance.
What is the price of year-round pitches in Croatia?
The prices of year-round in the campsites in Croatia are different. They range from €3,000.00 to €9,000.00 for the period from May to October. The prices are different depending on the campsite, i.e. the category of the campsite (how many stars it has). The prices themselves also depend on the typology of the pitch, the location of the pitch, i.e. the proximity to the sea and the equipment, whether the pitches have electricity, water and/or drainage. In our offer, we do not have the option of booking a year-round pitch, and for the above you need to contact the campsites directly.
What are the conditions for booking and cancellation?
At some campsites, an advance payment or the total amount is required when making a reservation. The amount paid in advance or the total amount is deducted from the bill for the stay in the campsite. For some campsites, you only need to fill in the credit card information. The credit card is valid as a guarantee for the trip and confirmation of the reservation. Most campsites allow free cancellation of reservations up to a few days before the trip. Certain campsites do not allow free cancellation and keep the advance payment or charge the credit card for a certain amount. The exact reservation and cancellation conditions for the desired campsite can be found in the first step of the booking process.
