Guests from Germany and western Austria, as well as Liechtenstein and eastern Switzerland, usually travel through Slovenia, but because of the traffic jams at the Karavanke tunnel, they often detour through Italy (Villach - Ljubljana - Zagorje).
Guests from the eastern part of Austria travel through Slovenia (Graz - Maribor - Zagorje), while those from the central and western part of Switzerland travel through Italy (Lugano - Milan - Venice - Trieste - Ljubljana - Zagorje).
Guests from the Czech Republic and Slovakia travel through Austria and Slovenia (Vienna - Graz - Maribor - Zagorje), and guests from Italy travel through Slovenia (Trieste - Ljubljana - Zagorje).

Inside the campsites, guests usually get around by bike, e-scooter or on foot. If you don't have your own bike, you can rent one. The easiest way to get around the area of Zagorje is by car.

The best family campsites in Zagorje are campsite Vita and campsite Terme Jezerčica.

Campsite guests in Zagorje can enjoy water parks and wellness facilities within or near the campsites. In addition to swimming and relaxing in the nearby thermal springs, guests can enjoy the following activities in the area:

• Biking and hiking on the hills of Zagorje

• Visit to Krapina and the Krapina Neanderthal Museum

• Visit to the sanctuary of Marija Bistrica

• Tasting of local specialties - food and wine

Some of the sanitary units in the campsites have showers suitable for pets. Veterinary clinics are located in several places - Donja Stubica, Oroslavje, Zabok, Klanjec.

Pitches in the campsites are equipped with electricity, water and sewerage hook-ups. Most pitches have electricity and water hook-ups, while drainage hook-ups are less common. These services are included in the price of the campsite. Please note that you will need a CEE adapter to connect to electricity, and that the power of the connection is usually 10A. Only a few campsites have connections up to 16A.

Barbecuing is allowed in designated barbecue areas. Some campsites allow barbecuing on the pitches, so please check the campsite pages for details.

There is a supermarket in the campsite Vita in Tuheljske Toplice, and there are other grocery stores in the area:

In the campsites in Zagorje you will find à la carte restaurants. The campsites Vita and Terme Jezerčica also offer breakfast and half board (reservations at the reception upon arrival). In the surrounding area, you will find many restaurants serving traditional local dishes. Some of the better known restaurants are "Lojzekova hiža", "Lagvić", "Rody", "Grašo" and pizzerias "Oro-Goro" and "Servus".
