What protective measures against coronavirus await you in Croatian campsites?

GENERAL RULES

All persons in the campsite area must follow the rule of physical distance of 1,5 meters. In all enclosed spaces, the rule of maximum number of persons allowed must be observed. Wearing a face mask is mandatory in all enclosed spaces. Check-in and check-out of guests at the campsite reception should not take longer than 15 minutes. All seating facilities at the campsite must have a minimum distance of 1,5 meters. Each campsite must also determine the maximum number of people who can stay at the campsite at the same time.

CLEANLINESS

A disinfectant dispenser should be installed at all entrances to enclosed spaces and in the employee’s work area. Sufficient quantities of paper towels and other disposable items should be provided. Cleaning in areas where a large number of people stay should be more frequent (sanitary facilities, pool complexes, multifunctional facilities). All buildings must be regularly ventilated. The campsites should contain visible information on hygiene procedures and guidelines on proper behavior. The staff are expected to know enough information about the virus to be able to prevent the spread of the infection in the campsite area.

RESTAURANTS AND BARS

In catering facilities it is recommended to serve guests at the table. The rule of physical distance of 1,5 meters and other hygiene instructions must also be observed. After each departure of guests, it is necessary to disinfect the area where the guest was staying.

SANITARY FACILITIES

The sanitary facilities are open and working normally. In accordance with the recommendations, they are frequently disinfected and ventilated.

BEACHES AND POOLS

Sunbeds by the pool or beach should be far enough apart and should be disinfected several times a day. In swimming pools, the chlorine value should be raised to the maximum allowable level, in order to create so-called virus-free water.
