New wellness center at Aminess Atea Resort, Krk Island

The excellent Aminess Atea Resort in Njivice on the island of Krk has been completely renovated in recent years. This year, in order to bring their offer up to the level of the best campsites in Croatia, they started the renovation of the “Stari Ribar” building, where they will build a modern wellness center by this summer. It is a four-star campsite, but there is motivation to add another star in the future and possibly earn the ADAC Superplatz certificate, officially making it one of the best campsites in Europe.

Aminess Atea Resort will be open from 29 March to 3 November, making it one of the campsites with a very long season.

Camping or mobile home rental

Aminess Atea Resort is one of the larger campsites and is well shaded by oak trees, so most of the 420 pitches are sheltered from the scorching sun. The pitches have electricity, water and drainage. Aminess Atea Resort also offers modern mobile homes, made by Adria Home. Several types are available: You can choose a mobile home with a private pool and sea view for a premium experience while the three-bedroom units for 6 people are perfect for families or groups of friends. There are also the classic two-bedroom mobile homes and smaller 1-bedroom units, suitable for couples.

In the central part of the campsite there is a large children’s playground with climbing frames and a small swimming pool with a slide. Three of the sanitary blocks have been completely renovated, a seaside café and a new reception have been built and the 7 Seas restaurant was refurbished last year. In the summer, there are inflatable playgrounds set up on the sea, you can rent SUP boards and kayaks, use the tennis courts and cycle along some of the beautiful cycle routes in the area. The one next to the sea all the way to Malinska is perfect for families.

The shore at Aminess Atea Resort is similar as the rest of the Krk Island, a combination of pebble and rocky beaches. There is also a very nice dog beach at the end of the campsite, which is the reason this pet-friendly campsite is so popular among guests with dogs.

The most important improvement, as mentioned above, is the conversion of the Stari Ribar building, located right by the sea. It used to be a restaurant but has been closed for the last few years. Ahead of this year’s season, renovation work has begun on the interior to transform it into a beautiful wellness center, which is expected to open in June.

The relaxation area and bar for spa guests will be on the ground floor, while the spacious spa area will be on the first floor. The offer will include:
