A walk through the centre of Novigrad reveals a wealth of historical stories. Campsites are particularly suitable for families with children, where top quality facilities, restaurants, supermarkets and children’s entertainment ensure a carefree holiday – you will find everything you need at a family campsite. At Aminess Maravea Camping Resort you can stay on a pitch close to the sea that can comfortably accommodate up to 9 people. The little ones will love the outdoor pools with slides and the entertainment programme will be their favourite activity while you relax on the Blue Flag beach. Together with the children, you can try out exciting sports activities in the sea and relax in the peace of the campsite, surrounded by fragrant greenery.

At pet-friendly campsites the pitches are spacious and surrounded by natural fencing. Dog showers are part of the modern sanitary facilities and dog beaches are ideal for a dip in the sea with your pet. In the summer, there is nothing better than to sleep under the stars and to wake up to the sound of the sea. Relaxing in front of a camper with a view of the sea is not far behind. Many of our guests choose the pitches by the sea at the Novigrad campsites because of the beauty of the surroundings and the feeling of peace. With a surface area of 90 to 120 m², they can comfortably accommodate up to 9 people and each has an electricity connection. Some of the pitches by the sea also have a water and drainage connection and the highest category pitches are equipped with showers, barbecues and gazebos. Natural fences and trees complete the picture, and the view of the sunset is sure to stay with you long after your holiday in Novigrad.
Around our campsites you will find maximum comfort in mobile homes. All modernly furnished, they have at least 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a covered terrace where you will often find a barbecue and deckchairs. The themed mobile home villages have communal swimming pools, a bar, barbecue areas and children’s playgrounds, and parking is available. The air-conditioned interiors add to the comfort, and the proximity of many of the units to the beach adds to the light Mediterranean atmosphere.

The Aminess Maravea Camping Resort is situated in an idyllic oak forest, only 4 km from the centre of Novigrad, where you can take a walk along the sea front. You can choose the location of the spacious pitches of up to 120 m² according to your wishes – in the shade of an oak tree, on a green lawn or by the sea. All plots have electricity and some have water, and are equipped with a shower, gazebo and barbecue. The pebble and stone beach has been awarded the Blue Flag. It is an ideal place to relax and unwind, thanks to the sports centre and the swimming pool complex with slides. The history of Novigrad dates back to ancient times, and over the course of thousands of years it has passed through the hands of various conquerors. Its eventful and colourful history is reflected in the architecture of the town, and the most beautiful historical display is to be found in the old part of the town. The city walls, built in the 13th century, are still the symbol of the town. The Belvedere loggia from the 16th century is the only Istrian loggia by the sea and offers a beautiful view, making it a favourite stop for visitors to Novigrad.
In the centre is the Lapidarium Museum with stone monuments from antiquity and the Middle Ages. It is one of the most important collections of its kind in Croatia. The Museum also serves as an attractive contemporary space where visiting exhibitions and music concerts are held. The church of St. Pelagije and St. Maksim dates back to the early Christian period and has been thoroughly renovated several times. Its 19th-century freestanding bell tower guards the statue of St Pelagije at the top, from where there is a beautiful view of the city.
