The old town of Fažana has narrow streets lined with stone houses, small churches and shops selling local produce, and the centuries-old fishing tradition is evident at every turn. In summer, you can visit events related to catching and preparing sardines, the symbol of Fažana. During your walk, you will come across the Sardine Park, an open-air gallery with sculptures inspired by this silvery blue fish. The town is also the departure point for the beautiful islands of the Brijuni National Park, which you should not miss.

Fažana is a popular destination for family holidays. It offers top-quality beaches with water parks, an adrenaline-fueled amusement park and a sardine salting school, to name but a few of the popular activities for your little ones. Our family campsites in Fažana offer not only fun activities for children, such as animation and swimming pools with slides, but also all the comforts and services that parents need for a stress-free holiday. From eating out to shopping, everything you need is within reach. Pitches for up to 8 people are available in the camps’ interiors or by the sea, with a short walk to the wonderful beach. The pitches are up to 100 m² in size. At the BiVillage campsite, a short walk will take you to the well-kept beach, which is also equipped with marine attractions. Additionally, you can swim in the outdoor freshwater pool.
All our campsites in Fažana are pet friendly, which means you don’t need to worry about bringing your pet. Each campsite is equipped with showering facilities and a beach for dogs. The promenades along the sea and footpaths in the interior of the Fažana area are perfect for walks or runs with your dog. Additionally, due to the campsites’ locations, you can take a pleasant walk in the charming center of Fažana. Campsite Pineta is located 2 km from the town centre and is surrounded by unspoilt nature, so your pet will be happy whether you take him for a walk or relax on the dog beach.

Pitches are available for up to 7 people and are up to 200 m² in size, with electricity and some with water. The Blue Flag pebble beach is ideal for families and is adapted for people with disabilities, with a special section – BiDog beach – for swimming with pets. Located 1km from the centre of Fažana, it is easy to walk to many of the summer events held in Fažana.
There is a pier in the centre of Fažana with regular boat departures to Brijuni, a unique archipelago and one of the most beautiful national parks in the region. The archipelago consists of 14 islands and islets, of which Veliki Brijun is the most popular destination. A 15-minute drive will take you to your destination, from where you can explore on foot, by bike or by tourist train.
The safari park is a popular stop for families with children – animals from many different parts of the world will be there to greet you. The park’s most famous residents are Lanka the elephant, who arrived in 1972 as a gift from the Indian Prime Minister, and Koki the parrot, who likes to chat and sometimes shake hands with visitors. As well as the safari park, there is a 1,600-year-old olive tree and a Mediterranean garden with 169 indigenous plants. More than 200 dinosaur footprints have been found on Brijuni, which are now considered a priceless attraction. And let’s not forget the remains of a luxurious Roman villa from the 1st century AD.
