Explore the Brijuni Islands

There is a pier in the centre of Fažana with regular boat departures to Brijuni, a unique archipelago and one of the most beautiful national parks in the region. The archipelago consists of 14 islands and islets, of which Veliki Brijun is the most popular destination. A 15-minute drive will take you to your destination, from where you can explore on foot, by bike or by tourist train.

The safari park is a popular stop for families with children – animals from many different parts of the world will be there to greet you. The park’s most famous residents are Lanka the elephant, who arrived in 1972 as a gift from the Indian Prime Minister, and Koki the parrot, who likes to chat and sometimes shake hands with visitors. As well as the safari park, there is a 1,600-year-old olive tree and a Mediterranean garden with 169 indigenous plants. Within the campsites, guests mostly use bicycles or e-scooters. There is a bus line connecting the BiVillage campsite with the city of Pula. For an additional fee, it is also possible to use a taxi boat that will take you from any campsite to the city center.
