Campsite Galeb can proudly say that it is one of the few campsites with a sandy beach in Dalmatia. Its beach is one of only two sandy beaches in Omiš and is very popular with swimmers of all ages. It stretches along the entire length of the campsite and offers a stunning view of the sunset, while on one side it is “guarded” by the slopes of the mountain. The shallow sea and gentle slope make it a popular choice for families with young children, but older children will also enjoy the additional facilities. From pedal boats and kayaks to a children’s playground and beach volleyball, there are plenty of activities to keep them entertained for hours while you relax under a parasol. There is also a restaurant overlooking the sea. What more could you ask for in a summer idyll?

You can choose the location that suits you best – from pitches in the interior of the campsite to those located right by the sea. Although it is a small town, Omiš is a Dalmatian town that is well known as a hub for adventurous holidays in the nature. The Adriatic Sea, the Dinara mountain and the Cetina river offer a wide range of activities. The more than 100 kilometres of the Cetina River and its spectacular canyon, which is a protected area, provide a unique setting for ziplining, rafting, kayaking and other activities. Visitors can also swim under the 50-metre-high Velika Gubavica waterfall near the village of Zadvarje.
Hiking and cycling trails lead from the centre of Omiš into the mountains, past old fortresses, hamlets and wooded corners. For lovers of free climbing, there are rocks in the immediate vicinity of the town that are suitable for both beginners and more experienced climbers.
