1 campsite on the island of Brač

The island of Brač is the third largest island in Dalmatia. It is known for its beautiful beaches, the white stone from which the White House was built, and a rich cultural heritage that allows you to immerse yourself in traditional Mediterranean life. With regular ferry lines from Split and Makarska, and even its own small airport, the island is very accessible to visitors.

There are a number of places on Brač that will delight visitors, but Zlatni Rat – considered by many to be the most beautiful beach in Croatia – takes the top spot. However, if you want to avoid the crowds, you have plenty of choice – the island is lined with numerous unspoilt bays that will impress you just as much. As well as beaches and picturesque towns rich in cultural heritage, the island is also ideal for an active holiday. The island’s highest peak is a favourite for hiking, and the 140km Via Brattia circular trail has recently been laid out, passing through many villages, beaches and interesting cultural and historical sites on the island.

Campsites on Brač are set among fragrant pines, right on the coast. Bunja Boutique Campsite is perfect for a summer escape from the city bustle in the more intimate atmosphere of a smaller campsite. With a focus on natural beauty and proximity to sea, you can choose a pebble pitch under a canopy of Mediterranean trees. Have a look at the offer and experience the island of Brač through its natural beauty and moments of tranquillity.

Zlatni rat – Croatia’s most beautiful beach

Zlatni rat is a Brač beach on the southern side of the island, featured on numerous postcards. It has become a recognisable symbol of the Croatian coast around the world, and you’ll often find it on lists of the world’s most beautiful beaches. The combination of light gravel and the unique oblong shape make it an attractive stop for visitors. Sunbeds and dense trees in the middle of the beach provide shade, while the beach bar, water park and various sea activities, such as surfing, attract beachgoers of all ages.

The beach is about 500 metres long, and is peculiar in that the “top” of the beach constantly changes shape due to the wind and waves that move the pebbles. Because of its unique beauty, the beach is a protected natural area, accessible by car or on foot from the town of Bol, which takes about 20 minutes. In the summer, you can also get there by tourist train from the village of Bol, which runs every 30 minutes.

Have a swim at Zlatni Rat, and then discover the many smaller beaches in the hidden coves of Brač. But first, book your pitch or mobile home and start counting down to your holiday on this beautiful Dalmatian island.
