Guests from Germany and western Austria, as well as Liechtenstein and eastern Switzerland, usually travel through Slovenia, but because of the traffic jams at the Karavanke tunnel, they often detour through Italy (Villach - Udine - Trieste - Rijeka - Makarska).
Guests from the eastern part of Austria travel through Slovenia (Graz - Maribor - Ljubljana - Rijeka - Makarska), while those from the central and western part of Switzerland travel through Italy (Lugano - Milan - Venice - Trieste - Rijeka - Makarska).
Guests from the Czech Republic and Slovakia travel through Austria and Slovenia (Vienna - Graz - Maribor - Ljubljana - Rijeka - Makarska), and guests from Italy travel through Slovenia (Trieste - Rijeka - Makarska).
Central Dalmatia can also be reached by ferry from Italy, which departs from the port of Ancona and docks at the port of Split. Once in Split, it is an hour's drive to the campsites in Makarska.

Inside the campsites, guests usually get around by bike, e-scooter or on foot. If you don't have your own bike, you can rent one at most campsites. There is a city bus that runs through Makarska, connecting different parts of the city. A suburban bus connects it with the surrounding coastal towns. The easiest way to get around Makarska is by car.

Yes, campsite guests can enjoy various entertainment programs in the summer months. There is also a handful of fun activities at sea, such as renting pedal boats or SUPs, but also the possibility of surfing, diving, sailing, etc.

Pets are allowed in all our campsites in Makarska, but be sure to check the pages of the individual campsites to see if pets are allowed without further inquiry or upon request.

All our campsites in Makarska have pet-friendly beaches, and some have pet-friendly showers. There is also a veterinary clinic in Makarska.

Pitches in the campsites are equipped with electricity, water and sewerage hook-ups. Most pitches have electricity and water hook-ups, while drainage hook-ups are less common. These services are included in the price of the campsite. Please note that you will need a CEE adapter to connect to electricity, and that the power of the connection is usually 10A. Only a few campsites have connections up to 16A.

Barbecuing is allowed in designated barbecue areas. Some campsites allow barbecuing on the pitches, so please check the campsite pages for details.

Each campsite has a supermarket and a mini-market. In addition, you will find other grocery stores in the area:

In the campsites in Makarska you will find à la carte restaurants. At the campsite Baško polje you can also book a breakfast or half board service (reservations are made at the reception upon arrival). In the town of Makarska you will find restaurants serving traditional dishes as well as international specialties. Some of the most famous restaurants are "Bounty", "Gastro Diva", "Papar Grill", tavern "Kalalarga".
Before visiting a particular restaurant, be sure to check the menu and prices so that you can choose what suits your taste.

At the campsites in Makarska you will find pebble and rocky beaches. On most of the beaches it is possible to practice various water sports (for an additional fee). Numerous beaches along the Makarska Riviera have been awarded the Blue Flag.
Sunbeds and umbrellas in the campsites are charged according to the campsite price list valid for the current year.
