The lively city of Split is the second largest city in Croatia and the main centre of Dalmatia. The city is a blend of ancient history, modern charm and Mediterranean pace of life. The result is a city with a special soul, proud of its cultural heritage and natural beauty.
Built in the 4th century and protected by UNESCO, Diocletian’s Palace is Split’s greatest cultural and historical treasure. Take a stroll through its streets and visit sights such as the Cathedral of St. Domnius. Soak up the cheerful atmosphere of the cafes and restaurants along Split’s waterfront, and an equally lively atmosphere awaits you at Bačvice, Split’s most famous beach. If you are in the mood for activity, head to the top of Marjan hill and take a day trip to one of the nearby islands.
A few kilometres east of Split is the Stobreč Split campsite, which stands out for the quality of its facilities. This year-round camp is surrounded by Blue Flag pebble beaches and has a swimming pool complex with activities for children. The pitches, which sleep up to 8 people, are situated so that you can enjoy the soothing sound of the waves from most of them. Activities such as basketball and scuba diving are just waiting to be tried out, and your pet can accompany you on all your adventures. Take a look at the spacious pitches on offer and plan your holiday in beautiful Split.

Sports activities are included in the animation programme, but you can also use the sports fields independently and play basketball, table tennis or beach volleyball. The children’s pool complex will delight the youngest guests, and while they are having fun, adults can relax in the wellness center. Spacious pitches of up to 120 m² can accommodate up to 8 people, and the proximity to the sea will appeal to all members of the family.
In our campsite with swimming pools in Split, you will be welcomed by a swimming pool complex with 3 pools. With two Blue Flag pebble beaches, the pools are ideal for spending the afternoon socialising and cooling off. The children’s pool has a small lighthouse, slide and geyser, while adults enjoy a shallow pool with bar. Ideal for relaxing in the sun, the pool has a waterfall, hydromassage loungers and jets. You can also relax in the jacuzzi, in the saunas or with a massage at the campsite’s wellness center.
If you are looking for an alternative to pitches, our top-quality mobile homes will delight you with their air-conditioned interior and high level of comfort. You will be able to enjoy the Adriatic Sea and the pebble beach at every moment of your holiday.
Campsite Stobreč Split is a year-round campsite located 7 kilometres from the center of Split, on the coast of the village of Stobreč. Situated on a peninsula, it is surrounded on two sides by pebble beaches with the Blue Flag. Thanks to its location and the dense forest that provides shade, the campsite has a pleasant temperature for most of the summer. There is a beach for dogs to cool off and a swimming pool complex with three pools, overlooking the Adriatic Sea, for all ages to enjoy. You can relax in the wellness area, work out in the fitness center and try out a variety of outdoor activities on the sports fields for a fun-filled holiday.
Split began to develop as a Greek colony called Aspálathos, but the Roman Emperor Diocletian is often referred to as its true founder. Around the year 300, he built the imperial residence. Over time, it was transformed into the Split of today. This residence, one of the best-preserved Roman complexes in the world, is now known as Diocletian’s Palace. The old city center of Split, including the palace, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979.
The palace covers an area of almost 40,000 square meters, and the people of Split still live in it today. Inside the palace there are numerous valuable historical and cultural sights from the Roman period – the main square of the palace, the Peristyle, the Temple of Jupiter and Diocletian’s Cellars are just some of them. The cellars are famous as a filming location for the Game of Thrones series. However, the biggest highlight is undoubtedly the Cathedral of St Domnius, with its bell tower offering a wonderful view of the whole city, as the icing on the cake at the end of the palace tour.
Book a spacious pitch or mobile home at our campsite and explore all the historical and natural gems of Dalmatia’s largest city – only a 15-minute drive from the centre of Split.
