Camping by the sea, especially in the warmer months, is one of the best holiday experiences in Dalmatia. At the Jezera Lovišća campsite, most of the beautiful pitches are by the sea, due to the terraced structure and the long coastline of the bay. Pitches of up to 140 m² are available for all types of units, from tents to campers. The camp is located in a bay that protects the interior from the wind. It also has one of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Murter. Most of the beach is pebble, with a slightly sloping entrance, ideal for families with children. The best part is that the swimming season lasts from May to October due to the pleasant climate and the location of the bay.

Campsite Jezera Lovišća is located just a few minutes from the bridge connecting Murter to the mainland, next to the fishing village of Jezera. All the facilities and accommodation units are spread around the bay with one of the most beautiful pebble beaches on the island. The length of the rows of pitches means that most of them are by the sea. All pitches have electricity and water and can accommodate up to 6 people. Next to the beach there is a restaurant and bar with wonderful views, while shops, a market and a bakery make for a carefree holiday. One of the campsite’s special features is its marina with around 70 berths for boats up to 7 metres in length. Other facilities include massages, 4 tennis courts and a children’s playground.
One of the most beautiful ways to explore the natural beauty of the hilly Dalmatian islands is to climb to the top of their lookout points, which offer incredible views. On Murter, you can walk or cycle to the top of any of the island’s hills. Hill Raduč is home to the island’s highest point – 125 metres, which makes Murter one of the lowest Croatian islands. A macadam road will take you to the top, and you don’t need to be in the best of shape to climb it. It is suitable for all levels of fitness.
The beautiful view stretches in all directions, as far as Velebit. You will have a special experience if you climb just before sunset – the colours of the sky and sea at this time will give you a unique experience.
