Gaveia d.o.o. is one of the largest travel tech companies in Croatia. It was founded in 2015 as online travel agency with its headquarters in Novigrad, in Istria. Within its portfolio, it develop 4 online booking platforms for 3 tourism niches in Croatia and Europe – camping, mobile homes and villas and holiday homes.
We bring together a team of 20+ specialists and associates with more that 15 years of experience in the local and regional tourism market. Beside the knowledge in tourism, our team has a high level of expertise in sales, digital marketing and IT.
Fully focused on the guests’ needs, through our own reservation centre with native speakers sales specialists, we offer the possibility of booking of desired accommodations – campsites, mobile homes, villas or holiday homes in Croatia and Europe, supplemented by all the required information and a continuous support service.
We are also marked by a long-term, successful partnerships with leading Croatian campsites, hoteliers and European tour operators.
Rich local know-how and knowledge, familiarity with the tourism market in combination with many years of experience in various niches and professional manner in communication in foreign languages are the guarantee of a full and rounded support for the stay. From finding desired accommodation and staying in a booked facility, until returning home, our team is fully dedicated to to the guest and his holiday.

Our journey
Founded in 2015. under the company name of Adria Camps d.o.o., Gaveia d.o.o. has gone from an online travel agency to a travel tech company, which with its own in-house custom developed web solutions, web apps, software and automated processes in sales and marketing provide state-of-the-art customer experience.
With constant growth, increasing the portfolio and expanding to new tourist niches in Croatia and Europe, Gaveia d.o.o. has secured the position of one of the largest travel tech companies in Croatia and beyond.

Launch of website vilas-guide.com with over 2.000 holiday homes and villas for rental throughout Croatia.

Time to scale!
Gaveia took the best out of pandemic: The year 2020 was ideal to develop and optimise our software and automate our sales processes. With new hirings and expansion of our dev team, we set up stable foundations for exponential growth and expansion into foreign markets.

Gaveia went international!
Gaveia brands are now operating on Croatian, Italian, French and Spanish market with many others to come. Thanks to stable foundations and well prepared season, we surpassed our pre-pandemic figures by far: In 2021, Gaveia achieved growth of 300% compared to the record year 2019.

Our goal in 2022
In 2022, we strengthened our presence in foreign markets - Italy, France and Spain and empowered our own portfolio of villas and holiday homes. Beside that, our Villas Guide brand has been completely redesigned and refreshed with additional features to improve the user experience. Season 2022 really exceeded all expectations and predicted goals: In 2022, Gaveia achieved growth of 200% compared to the record year 2021.

The Gaveia family is growing!
We always look ahead and strive to achieve all the set goals. In 2023, the Gaveia brand is joined by Avtokampi.si, the most important camping portal in Slovenia, with more than 15 years of experience in the field of camping. In addition to teaming up with Avtokampi.si and strengthening our presence on the Slovenian camping market, with new hirings we expaned our team to 20+ specialists with high expertise in sales, digital marketing and IT.
