Number of updates in Terra Park Phalaris, Pag

The island of Pag is known for its many campsites and in recent years the quality of the overall tourist offer there has been constantly improving. Pag is best known among camping enthusiasts for the Straško and Šimuni campsites but there are a number of other interesting campsites on the island as well. One of them is Terra Park Phalaris on the western side of the island, right by the sea. The campsite is located on a pebble beach 3 km north of Novalja. It’s open from late April to mid-October.

Terra Park Phalaris is a medium-sized campsite with 200 pitches and rows of mobile homes on the right side. Most of those mobile homes are made by a company called Adria Home from Slovenia.

The company has had a very productive collaboration with the campsite in the past, which is why this year it will build 53 new mobile homes there. The units will be top of the line: each of them will have a heated swimming pool next to it, and the spacious terraces will be shielded from the sun and the rain by high quality pergolas.

The campsite can be reached by a paved road from the main road Novalja – Lun, and there is also a promenade by the sea, which is suitable for mountain bikes.

The left side of the campsite is divided into camping pitches, all of which are equipped with electricity and water. New trees were planted between individual pitches a few years ago, and as they grow they provide more and more shade for the pitches around them.

On the right side of the campsite is where the luxury mobile homes are located, with those near the sea even boasting private swimming pools. Most of the mobile homes have two bedrooms, but there are also a few three-bedroom units for 6+1 people.

There is also a small shop on site (bigger ones are available in Novalja), a renovated restaurant, a sports playground, a fitness center, SUP-boards and kayaks for rent on the beach, and as of recently you can even rent electric bikes. Children will love the inflatable playgrounds on the water right next to the beach.

The campsite is pet-friendly, so dogs are allowed both on pitches and in mobile homes, there is also a designated dog beach, and dog showers.

New mobile homes in Terra Park Phalaris

Two new types of mobile home will be added this year:

The larger ones will offer 70m2 of space and have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a 36m2 covered terrace with a pool right next to it.

The smaller mobile homes are 40m2 and offer 2 bedrooms with the same 36m2 terrace and pool.

Marinus Deluxe Camping Villas present the premium option as they will be located right next to the beach. There are also Tamaris Superior mobile homes available (about 40-80m from the beach), Tamaris mobile homes (80 to 140m) and the Pinus units (over 140m from the sea). The shade on the terraces will be provided by Misteral pergolas covered with photovoltaic panels. This brand-new type of pergola is not only aesthetic and practical but also completely wind- and waterproof.

Campsite upgrades for 2024

For this year’s camping season, Terra Park Phalaris will not only be adding new mobile homes with swimming pools, but also improving its entertainment facilities.

New piers are being built on the rocky part of the beach, which will serve as sunbathing areas and also make it easier for swimmers to access the sea. A brand-new beach bar will also be built on the left side of the campsite (there is already one on the right side), where guests can enjoy the pleasant shade from the scorching sun during the day and enjoy the beautiful sunsets in the evening.

The central part of the campsite is also being renovated – there are already several sports fields and a fitness center, and this year a new modern beach volleyball court will be added. Children will love the new large playground with a variety of games available, and there is a new entertainment area being built right next to it to host movie nights and evening events.

Returning guests of the Terra Park Phalaris have a lot to look forward to this year while newcomers might just discover their new favorite holiday spot.
