Aminess Style Camping Atea Resort in Njivice unveils the renovation of the campsite

The Aminess campsite in Njivice has a new name – Aminess Style Camping Atea Resort. It was last renovated more than 10 years ago, and this spring a new 5-star campsite was announced. We’re bringing you the first photos and a list of new features of the campsite, which is scheduled to reopen in mid-June 2025.

The island of Krk is one of the most popular camping destinations in Croatia, with many excellent and varied campsites. The island is interesting all year round, as there are several campsites that are open even in winter, such as Ježevac, Omišalj and Bor. When you visit Krk, you can enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings with numerous hiking and cycling trails. One of the most beautiful trails runs along the sea from Njivice to Malinska and is a great opportunity to enjoy the scenery. The island also has many pebble beaches and offers interesting cultural and sports events, which usually take place from April to October.

In Njivice you can also find a horse riding center, so you can go horseback riding in the surroundings. If you’re interested in further exploring nature, we also recommend a visit to the karst cave of Biserujka, which is only 14 km away.

The Aminess Style Camping Atea Resort was already one of the best campsites in Kvarner, but the decision to renovate it came from the desire to offer guests something more, especially by adding more activities for children, from games and activities to larger pools and slides. The campsite is located in the northern part of Njivice, right next to the beach, which has a rocky and a pebble part, as well as a well-kept dog beach.

New pitches and renovated sanitary facilities

The renovated campsite will have around 260 pitches, located in the back half of the campsite where there is more shade from the oak trees. Most pitches will be up to 120m² and all will have electricity, water and drainage. There will also be 3 Mega Premium pitches for the largest campers and caravans, which will be between 200 and 250m². The Luxury Mare pitches will be located in the first row by the sea and will have a private heated swimming pool.

In addition, the sanitary blocks 1 and 2 will be completely renovated. Sanitary block 3, built in 2018 in the upper part of the campsite, will remain as it is.

Mobile homes and glamping homes to come from Slovenia

The first part of the campsite will be a village of mobile and glamping homes, all supplied by the Slovenian company Adria Home. The big change will be that this part of the campsite will become a car free zone. Guests will leave their cars in the reception parking lot and be transported to their accommodation by electric golf carts.

The new mobile homes will be Adria’s latest models, ranging from 30 to 40m² and accommodating 4+2 people. All will have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with a living room area and a covered terrace.

The best mobile homes will be the Atea Sea Luxury Holiday. They will have a private heated swimming pool and will be located close to the sea. These will be 40m² and there will also be a 72m² luxury home with a slightly larger pool.

A new addition will be 50 Luxury Glamping Villas. They will be located in the central part of the campsite, next to the new swimming pool complex. Eight of these villas will have their own private heated pool. They will sleep 4+2 people and have a stylish interior of 40m². All villas will have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room and a covered terrace.

Pools, children’s playgrounds, sports park and a wellness area

A large water park with 8 pools and 2 large water slides will also be added to the campsite. Half of the pools will be heated, making it possible to swim throughout the season. There will also be a larger pool (100m²) in the mobile home village and another in the pitch area. Next to the pools there will be a large children’s playground, a sunbathing area and a café. There will also be other children’s areas in other parts of the campsite.

There will also be more activities in the Mirami Mini Club, an indoor playroom near the reception, with activities for children of all ages, as well as a PlayStation game room. A new sports park will also be built at the entrance of the campsite, with a multi-purpose court (basketball, soccer), padel court, mini golf and an outdoor fitness area.

A new wellness center has been opened this year in a building by the sea, where guests can continue to enjoy saunas, massages and beauty treatments. A brand new shop will also be available to guests in the central part of the campsite.
