It has an incomparably charming atmosphere, with its hilltop location, vineyards, olive groves and narrow stone streets lined with colourful windows, benches and flowers. Lovers of authentic Istrian culture, art and nature are bound to fall in love the first time they visit.

History buffs will also find plenty to explore. From ancient palaces to medieval churches, traces of the past are well preserved and integrated into the modern world. Campsite with beach and swimming pools

For many, the pool is an essential part of the summer holiday and the youngest members of the family will agree. Our campsite with pools in Bale takes pool facilities to a new level. The themed water park is called Paleo Park and the whole complex is built in the shape of a dinosaur – inspired by the discovery of real dinosaur bones on the seabed near Bale in 1992. You’ll also find heated swimming pools in the camp’s Wellness Centre to help you relax and unwind. There are heated loungers next to the indoor pools so you don’t need to swim to enjoy all the benefits.

Multimedia exhibition in the heart of Bale

A favourite place for many visitors to Bale is the Ulika multimedia centre. It is located in the town’s largest square, La Musa Square, and the exhibition is divided into two interesting sections – dinosaurs and birds. Here you can have a look at dinosaur bones that are about 200 million years old. These bones emerged from the seabed in the Bale area in 1992, which is why Bale was included in the World Palaeontological List. There is also a model of a dinosaur, which is a regular attraction for visitors of all ages.

In the second part of the permanent exhibition, you have the opportunity to explore the world of birds living around Bale. Besides looking at models of autochthonous Istrian birds, you can also listen to them sing. The multimedia centre is one of the main attractions in Bale, where the whole family can enjoy themselves, due to the diversity of the offer.

If you want to explore this area yourself and then relax on a campsite overlooking the Adriatic Sea, choose your plot and plan an exciting holiday in Bale.
