Award-winning campsites in Croatia in 2022

Different campsites attract different groups of visitors with their facilities. Each campsite in Croatia offers its own uniqueness and service, which makes it the ideal choice for its visitors. However, there are also campsites that stand out from the rest and meet certain criteria worthy of recognition. Croatia’s Best Campsites

The Camping Association of Croatia (KUH) evaluates and awards campsites that stand out with certain characteristics. The selection criteria are clearly defined – the campites must meet the minimum technical requirements for 4* and offer high quality sanitary facilities, accommodation units, restaurants, bars and shopping offers as well as sports facilities, entertainment and animation. The following criteria are rated from 1 (lowest) to 5 (mostly): sanitary facilities, accommodation units, restaurants, bars and shopping as well as sports, entertainment and entertainment.

ADAC Superplatz

The esteemed ADAC Superplatz award this year also awards recognition based on the following criteria: equipment of sanitary facilities, area and equipment of individual plots as well as the entire campsite. The commercial and gastronomic offer is evaluated as well as the entertainment facilities and the swimming pools and beaches. This year, Croatia is also in third place in terms of the number of award-winning campsites, after France and Italy, with 22 award-winning campsites. This year, Ježevac Premium Camping Resort, Campsite Arena Grand Kažela, San Servolo Wellness Camping and Campsite Mon Perin, from the AdriaCamps offer, were added to the list.

Naj kamp Adria

For the 12th year in a row, the Avtokampi.si portal has prepared the “Naj kamp Adria” award, in which camping enthusiasts vote for the best campsites, mobile homes, glamping resorts and rest areas in Slovenia and Croatia. This year there are several winners from the AdriaCamps offer. It is important to emphasize that the campsite Straško is the absolute winner as the campsite that received the highest number of votes among all, and Aminess Atea Camping Resort was declared as the campsite with the best mobile homes.

ACSI Awards

New this year is the ACSI Award, which is awarded to campsite in 8 categories: the best campsite for children, the campsite with the best swimming pool, the best sports campsite, the campsite with the best pitches, the best dog-friendly campsite, the campsite with the best location, the campsite with the best restaurant and campsite with the best sanitary facilities. You can vote until January 15, 2023. It is possible to choose only one category per campsite, it is not possible to vote for the same campsite more than once.
