The Croatian Camping Association Award (KUH) evaluates campsites that delight with their locations, vegetation and are located directly on the sea or river. The Inspectorate awards recognition according to the following criteria: equipment of sanitary facilities, area and equipment of individual pitches as well as the entire campsite area. Shopping and gastronomic offer is evaluated as well as entertainment facilities, beaches and bathing places.

Leading Campings

This recognition highly rewards the overall experience and atmosphere of the campsites themselves. Special attention is paid to the gastronomy, appearance and architecture of the campsite. The main evaluation criteria are wellness content, animation programs, gastronomic offer, sports content and the accommodation units themselves. The Leading Campings Award emphasizes the environment in which the campsite is located, the proximity of cultural assets and sports facilities for visitors.

ANWB Top Camping

The Dutch car club ANWB awards this prize to campsites of exceptional quality, a wide range of content and service. This recognition is given to versatile campsites that provide a variety of sports and entertainment content for all ages. They highlight content such as water parks and playgrounds for children as well as a rich animation program. These are mostly family campsites in top locations, close to the sea and tourist destinations, historic towns or nature reserves.

This award is of special significance and stands out from the rest. Namely, it is not assigned by an expert inspection, but by the visitors of individual campsites themselves. On the internet portal, visitors rate each campsite they visited and write reviews from personal experiences. After that, the ranking is calculated by taking into account the average impressions, that is, adding up and dividing the ratings assigned by visitors. All comments and ratings of visitors are publicly visible and exceptional attention is paid to transparency.
