New in campsites Bijela Uvala and Zelena Laguna

The camping season in Poreč will start in mid-April with the opening of the Zelena Laguna and Bijela Uvala campsites. Both are preparing a number of new features: From new camping pitches to renovated swimming pools, sanitary facilities and restaurants.

Zelena Laguna and Bijela Uvala are among the campsites in Istria that have invested a lot in renovations and improved offer over the last few years, and for the 2025 season they are again adding several new features.

Both campsites have nicely landscaped shady as well as sunny pitches, they are perfectly located for seaside walks or cycling around Poreč and have always been the favorites among dog-owners as there are dog-friendly beaches at both campsites.

Campsite Zelena Laguna – open from 16 April to 12 October 2025

The smaller of the two campsites with a capacity for about 2700 guests, Zelena Laguna is very versatile with plenty of shade, few mobile homes set to the rear of the campsite and a mostly concrete beach.

In recent years new pitches have been developed (last year the flat-rate pitches were moved to the area by the reception), sanitary facilities 2 and 4 have been renovated, and a water play area has been built for children.

The campsite also has a swimming pool, a common events area, a small basketball court, a beach volleyball court, a mini-golf course by the sea, and two large water slides on the beach.

There are also pebbled sections along the concrete beach for easier access to the sea, and a well-tended and marked dog beach at the edge of the campsite. Showers for dogs are available at the sanitary facilities.

New features at Zelena Laguna for the 2025 season:

– 126 new camping pitches of 95-120 m2: 28 Superior, 24 Superior Mare, 36 Luxury, 18 Luxury Mare and 20 Superior pitches with private bathroom (toilet, shower, sink). All pitches have electricity and water, some also have a drain.

– Renovation of sanitary facilities 1 and 3, which will be equipped according to the latest standards and will be adapted for disabled persons, with children’s bathrooms, laundry facilities and a shower for dogs, as well as dishwashers and fridges.

– Renovation of the poolside restaurant and new catering facilities.

Campsite Bijela Uvala – open from 16 April to 5 October 2025

This larger campsite with pitches in the shade of oak trees boasts a varied beach, numerous swimming pools, excellent sports facilities and a beautifully landscaped dog beach. Most of the campsite is comprised of camping pitches, with the agency mobile homes placed at the back.

The campsite has three swimming pool complexes, and last year larger slides and water playgrounds were added to the main pool, with additional pools for younger swimmers. The beach is a combination of pebbles and concrete, with an inflatable park in the sea set up during the summer and a pebbly dog beach on the far left. There are also a few cafés along the beach.

In recent years, new camping pitches have been developed, 12 of them with private bathrooms, sanitary facilities 2, 4 and 7 have been renovated as well as the large Fun Zone with children’s playgrounds, an animation and event space, an indoor games room and cafés.

New for the 2025 camping season:

– Redevelopment of the entire area called the Town Center, including the already built Fun Zone, the newly expanded Activities & Experiences Center, which will offer lots of fun for the little ones (trampolines, climbing walls, playgrounds).

– Renovation of the seafront pool and the restaurant: In addition to the new facilities for children, the pool in this area and the restaurants next to it will be renovated and a new sun terrace will be built.

– Renovation of sanitary facility 6, which is located next to the renovated restaurant and swimming pool.

– Renovation of sanitary facility 1 at the start of the campsite – this is a larger sanitary facility with children’s bathrooms and a shower for dogs, plus a children’s playground next to it.
