How to save up to €650,00 on mobile home booking
The main advice for booking of mobile homes is to book as soon as possible. When it comes to mobile homes, it is not just another empty sales phrase, but the best way to book at realistic prices, sometimes more favourable by up to €650,00. Some of the reasons for this are:
- Last Minute discounts for mobile homes are very rare or even non-existent
- Last Minute prices can be as much as 20% higher in comparison to Early Booking prices
- Early Booking discounts concern stays booked in advance and mostly last until the end of January, after which regular, undiscounted prices apply
What exactly is Early Booking?
Early Booking is a period for booking which most often lasts from the moment bookings open (September), to the end of January. Within that period, discounts up to 20% are applied to regular prices. Following expiry of the Early Booking period, the prices which were active in that period will not be repeated.
Mobile home prices are not fixed and are based on availability. What does this mean?
The method of selling bookings for mobile homes is best compared with the way in which airline tickets are sold. Example: if you decide to travel by plane in November 2022 and if you purchase your ticket in May or June, the price of your ticket will be as much as 30% lower than if you bought it in October. As the availability of free seats on a plane reduces and demand for tickets increases, the price of the ticket rises accordingly.
The same thing happens with mobile homes. The mobile home prices are changed on a daily basis and, sometimes, can also be changed several times in the course of a day. As the stay date approaches and the number of available mobile homes is fewer, the price of the last available mobile homes increases. If, at the time of your enquiry and booking, there are only 3 available desired mobile homes left, their price will be much higher as opposed to an enquiry made a year prior to arrival, when there were, say, 50 such mobile homes available.
We have researched the situation a little with mobile homes in Croatia, comparing the prices between bookings few days prior to arrival and those if you book several months in advance, or even a year ahead. We will not name the selected examples: however, each example is based on realistic cases and prices.
