6 best Naturist campsites in Croatia

Naturism is a way of life in which the body is nurtured. Naturists believe that living without clothes has health benefits (physical and mental) and that harmony with nature contributes to stress relief, increased self-esteem, respect for other people and attention to the environment. A naturist holiday means staying in a naturist campsite.

In Croatia, naturism is allowed in naturist campsites that stretch along the Croatian coast. Also, naturism is allowed on beaches that are not in naturist campsites, and are marked as FKK/naturist beaches. It is strictly forbidden and punishable to swim without a bathing suit on beaches other than FKK.

Croatia is one of the founders of naturism and naturist campsites. A total of 17 naturist campsites can be found along the Croatian coast. In Croatia, naturists can find suitable accommodation in three types of campsites: 1. Naturist campsites- open only to naturists (beaches exclusively for naturists) 2. Combined campsitesfor naturists and others - separate zones for naturists and other campers (separate beaches, sanitary facilities, shops, etc.) 3. Textile campsites with naturist beaches - campsite guests must be fully clothed, except on the naturist beach.

On naturist beaches, swimming is allowed only without swimsuits. The above applies to both adults and children. Swimming of pets is prohibited unless the beach is marked as a beach for pets. Sunbeds and umbrellas are charged on the campsite beaches according to the valid price list of the campsite for the current year.

Apart from the beaches, it is also necessary to be without clothes in the campsite, this rule applies to both children and adults. In the campsites, it is forbidden to go naked to the restaurant, shop and reception. You can find the rules of conduct in the house rules of each campsite. Rules vary from campsite to campsite.

Naturist campsites with a swimming pool (both campsites are located in Istria): FKK Solaris Naturist Camping Resort and FKK Naturist Camping Ulika. Sunbeds and umbrellas in the campsites, on the beach or at the pool are charged according to the valid price list of the campsite for the current year. In most cases, the price is for a package: 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella per day. Payment is made every day and depends on availability that day. It is not possible to pre-book sunbeds and umbrellas for the entire stay.

In all naturist campsites, pets are allowed on a certain part of the beach. Bathing of pets is allowed only on the beach where they are allowed, on other beaches it is strictly prohibited.

The following campsites offer breakfast/half-board service: FKK Solaris Naturist Camping Resort and FKK Naturist Camping Koversada. It is not possible to reserve the mentioned services in advance, you can only reserve them upon arrival at the campsite reception. There are à la carte restaurants in the other campsites.

It is not necessary to have an INF card to stay in the naturist campsites from our offer. The INF card is only required for FKK Solaris Naturist Camping Resort if you are traveling alone (1 person).

At some campsites, an advance payment or the total amount is required when making a reservation. The amount paid in advance or the total amount is deducted from the bill for the stay in the campsite. For some campsites, you only need to fill in the credit card information. The credit card is valid as a guarantee for the trip and confirmation of the reservation. Most campsites allow free cancellation of reservations up to a few days before the trip. Certain campsites do not allow free cancellation and keep the advance payment or charge the credit card for a certain amount.
