Campsite Koversada: New Concept in 2025

Campsite Koversada has long been known as a naturist destination. However, in 2025, it has been divided into two new individual campsites:

• Koversada Covered – a textile campsite facing Vrsar
• Koversada Uncovered – a naturist campsite facing the Lim Channel

We explored the updated campsite, capturing photos and a short video to showcase the changes.

Located near Vrsar, the newly renovated Koversada Covered offers:

• Approx. 700 well-equipped camping pitches
• 141 mobile homes
• Several safari tents on the island

Meanwhile the naturist part, Koversada Uncovered, remains available for guests seeking a naturist experience. Situated along the Lim Channel, this area offers around 500 camping pitches, 30 mobile homes, and apartments located in the rear section.

Pitches at Koversada Covered

Over 500 pitches have been fully redesigned and upgraded. The new pitches are equipped with electricity and water; some include drainage. Some new pitch types were introduced:

• Comfort Maisky: with a miniature caravan on the pitch as a playground for children (22 pitches)
• Comfort Bath: with private bathroom and dishwashing area (20 pitches)
• Comfort BBQ: with kitchen, canopy, grill, and terrace (11 pitches)

The remaining 200 pitches at the entrance of the campsite were left untouched. Tent camping is available on the unplotted area on the island, connected to the mainland by a bridge. These space is non-reservable and priced lower than standard pitches. Vehicles may only access the island for unloading the gear – parking is provided on land.

Two new modern sanitary facilities (no. 9 and 10) were added this year. There are also two smaller ones on the island. Pitch prices include electricity and accommodation for up to six people.

Safari tents (the glamping units) accommodate up to 5 guests, with two bedrooms, a small kitchen, and shared sanitary facilities. Located in the shaded pine areas, they are not air-conditioned and do not allow pets.

Mobile homes at Koversada Covered

New air-conditioned mobile homes (1–3 bedrooms) can accommodate 2–6 guests and are located on the far left side of the campsite. They all allow pets and guests can choose among different sizes:

• 18m² mobile homes for couples (1 bedroom)
• 32m² mobile homes for families (2 bedrooms)
• 40m² mobile homes for larger groups (3 bedrooms)

Each unit includes a kitchen, one or two bathrooms, and a spacious covered terrace. There is a a new playground nearby the mobile home village, as well as the entertainment area and child-friendly sandy beach. A pier connects both ends of the bay and doubles as a diving platform.

New features at Koversada Covered include:

• Two playgrounds
• Entertainment area and bay square (new restaurant opening in July)
• Shared barbecue zones
• Seaside promenade and bike path
• 2 illuminated beach volleyball courts (along with 2 existing ones on the beach)
• Soccer field, basketball court, mini golf, SUP rental

The location of the campsite is ideal for families as they can walk or cycle along the coastal path that leads to Vrsar and continues toward Funtana and Poreč. The other route runs along the Lim Channel.
