The Aminess Style Camping Atea Resort has undergone extensive renovations since last fall. Unfortunately, construction has been delayed, so the upper part of the campsite will remain closed until mid-July at least. We visited the campsite to see what’s new and are presenting you with the first photos and a short video from the campsite.
The Aminess Style Camping Atea Resort is located on the edge of Njivice on the island of Krk. It now has 260 camping pitches and 254 mobile and glamping homes from Adria Dom, a Slovenian company based in Črnomelj. We visited the campsite on Monday, June 23 2025, to check on the latest progress of the ongoing construction.
The lower part of the campsite is open, below the main road that runs through it, while work is still ongoing in the upper part, where glamping homes, camping pitches, a new water park, and a large children’s playground will be located. The pitches and glamping homes are expected to open in early July, and the water park in mid-July.
The campsite already has a new shop, a sports center with soccer, basketball, and paddle tennis courts, as well as a large outdoor fitness center. Additionally, the wellness center, which was renovated last year, is now open in the building by the sea. A seaside bar and a restaurant on the side facing Njivice are also open. The campsite will be open until November 2 this year.
The campsite is now divided into three parts, and the pitches are located at the edge of the campsite. Currently, there are 140 Luxury, Premium, and Superior pitches available, and work is still underway on the remaining 120 Comfort and Standard pitches in the upper part of the campsite (above the road).
All pitches will have electricity, water and drainage, and 12 pitches in the first row will also have a private heated swimming pool. Next to the pitches, there are already two completely new sanitary facilities with children’s toilets, family bathrooms, dog showers, a laundry room, and a children’s playground. A third sanitary facility will be built in the upper part of the campsite.
A large communal swimming pool will soon open below Sanitary Facility 2. Pitches in the central area tend to be shadier, while the area closer to the sea has fewer trees due to the removal of old oak trees during construction.
Near the campsite entrance there are new mobile homes for 4+2 people. These are the latest Adria models with 2 bedrooms. The mobile home village is designed to be vehicle-free, and guests are transported to their mobile homes by electric carts.
The mobile homes have a surface area of 30 m², 34 m² or 40 m² and include 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen with a living area, and a covered terrace. A large swimming pool is also available to all guests staying in the mobile homes.
The best mobile homes are the 31 Atea Sea Luxury Holiday mobile homes with private heated pools, located near the sea. These mobile homes have a surface area of 40 m², and there is also another luxury mobile home, no. 375, with a surface of 72 m² and a slightly larger pool.
In the upper part of the campsite, near the water park, 50 Luxury Glamping Villas will be available in July. These villas have already been built, and work is still underway on landscaping the surrounding area. Eighteen of these glamping villas will have their own private heated swimming pool.
The glamping villas are also for 4+2 people and have a surface area of 40 m². They have a stylishly furnished interior, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, and a covered terrace.
At the very entrance of the campsite, there is a newly renovated sports park with a large soccer field and basketball court, as well as a paddle tennis court and outdoor fitness area. Unfortunately, there are no longer any tennis courts.
There are no major changes on the beach itself. It is a pebble beach with some rocky and concrete parts, and there’s also a dog beach at the edge of the campsite. There is shade at the beginning and in the central part of the beach, and morning shade at the far side of it. A water park can be found in the sea, and you can also rent SUP board and kayaks.
If you get hungry, there is a restaurant right on the beach, and there’s also a fast food truck. And when you want to relax, visit the wellness center at the ‘Stari Ribar’ building. There you can enjoy saunas and various massages or treat yourself to a beauty salon treatment.
