Camping Arena Stupice: new camping pitches and mobile homes

Campsite Arena Stupice is located in Premantura, just before the beginning of cape Kamenjak. This winter has been spent on upgrades, which include new pitches, the replacement of old mobile homes and the renovation of one sanitary facility. We’ve got the first photos of the new pitches and mobile homes.

Work has been ongoing at the Arena Stupice campsite throughout the winter and the campsite has partially opened on 19 April. However, not all the work was finished by then yet, as the right side of the campsite and the sanitary building #1 was still being renovated. The new mobile homes on the left side of the campsite and the new pitches on the peninsula have opened just in time for early May holidays.

About Arena Stupice Campsite

The Arena Stupice campsite is popular due to its proximity to Cape Kamenjak, which is easiest to reach by bicycle, as there is entrance fee for cars. The southernmost point of the cape is 4 km away, so it’s accessible for everyone, including children. There are many different beaches around the whole headland, and at the end of the cape there is the famous Safari Bar with interesting games for children. Nearby there are also cliffs from which the brave can dive into the sea.

The beach at Arena Stupice varies from pebbly coves to rocky stretches, and the location is also interesting for surfing, which is why there is a surf center on site. In summer, an aquapark with inflatable playgrounds is set up in the sea, and there are also playgrounds for children.

New camping pitches

New camping pitches have been landscaped over the winter, with 65 of them set on the peninsula. All are now sandy with electricity, water and drainage. That’s the sunny part of the campsite with a pleasant breeze throughout the day. This area is mainly used by motorhomes and caravans.

As the ground of the campsite from the sea to the back part is a bit steeper, they decided to set up new pitches in three flat terraces there. The pitches are still under construction, but there will be space for 48 pitches, which will be equipped with electricity, water and drainage, just like the ones on the peninsula.

The shady pitches in the central and upper part of the campsite remain unchanged, and they are perfect for tents.

New mobile homes for 5 people

Camping Arena Stupice was one of the first campsites in the region to offer mobile homes. As a result, the mobile homes were already more than 20 years old and this year all 110 of them were replaced.

The mobile homes on the left side of the campsite opened at the same time as the campsite, while those on the right side will be available a bit later. These are spacious mobile homes for 5 people (40 m2), which have a terrace, two bedrooms, a kitchen (with stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave) and two bathrooms. All units are air-conditioned and dogs are allowed for an extra charge.
