Campsite Arena Stoja gets its 4th star and new pitches with bathrooms

Campsites in Croatia keep improving their quality with new investments. This is also the case at the campsite Arena Stoja, near the center of Pula, which was classified as a four-star campsite last year. This year, they’ve added new pitches and updated sanitary facilities.

Campsite Arena Stoja, Pula

The campsite is located in the western part of Pula and is connected to the city by a local bus, which stops right in front of it. In the center of Pula you can see the famous Arena, walk around the old part of the city, visit the market, stroll through the Zerostrasse tunnels under the city and have a coffee in the Forum Square. Campsite Arena Stoja is a medium-sized campsite, open all year round, set on a peninsula with a beautiful view of the open sea. The beach consists of a pebbly cove at the beginning of the campsite and the rocky part at the other end, where it is also possible to dive into the sea from one of the cliffs. Dogs are allowed at a designated part of the beach. Thrill-seekers will love the Wake Park Pula, right next to the campsite entrance.

Arena Stoja offers classic camping, modern mobile homes for 4+2 people and glamping tents for 2+2 people.

Pitches

Last year, 88 Luxury pitches on the right side of the campsite were completely redesigned and are now sandy, equipped with electricity, water and drainage. In 2025, 4 special pitches with a private on-pitch bathroom (including toilet, shower, sink, and mini fridge) have been added.

In the past 2 years sanitary buildings 1 and 3 have been renovated: both are now heated, which makes them perfect for year-round use.

Mobile homes

In recent years, all the old mobile homes have been replaced. The 75 new mobile homes are very spacious, measuring from 46 to 57m2, all modernly designed and furnished, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious covered terrace.

The mobile homes are located at the southern part of the campsite and those in the first row have an open view of the sea. Pets are allowed in all of them for an extra charge.

Glamping tents

Another interesting option is the glamping tents, which measure 30m2 and sleep two adults and two children. They have two bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen connected to an outdoor terrace. Pets are also allowed in glamping tents at an extra cost.

Recent improvements

Besides the accommodation units, the campsite itself has also recently been updated: there is a new reception and entrance area with a new café next to it, and the renovated Pepas – Food & Fire restaurant, designed in a relaxed Mediterranean style.
