The beginnings of naturism in Croatia date back to the first half of the 20th century. The first naturist (FKK) campsite is a well-known one, Koversada in Istria, and the first naturist beach (perhaps less well known) is Kandarola on the island of Rab.

Naturism is very popular on the Croatian coast. This is certainly reflected in the fact that Croatia has over 60 FKK beaches, some of which are truly impressive. There are slightly fewer naturist campsites (around 30), but still enough to satisfy the needs of those who want to spend their vacation in complete harmony with nature.

1. FKK Koversada Uncovered Naturist, Vrsar

Koversada opened its doors in 1961, making it the oldest naturist center on the Adriatic. The campsite is situated in an attractive location at the entrance to the Lim Canal, and some of the facilities that await you include a new restaurant, beautifully landscaped common areas for games and barbecues, and a popular naturist beach. Accommodation is available on shaded pitches by the sea or in modern mobile homes.

2. FKK Naturist Campsite Ulika, Poreč

The campsite Ulika is a true oasis of peace and tranquility. Located in a small village near Poreč, it offers a shared swimming pool, several restaurants, a children’s playground and a beautifully landscaped hiking and biking trail. Accommodation is available on pitches, some of which are in the first row to the sea, and in mobile homes, some of which are located in a separate village with a shared swimming pool.

3. FKK Camping Solaris, Poreč

5. FKK Valamar Camping Bunculuka, Baška

Nicely landscaped, with a fine pebble beach and thatched parasols that add an exotic touch, Bunculuka is one of those campsites you won’t want to leave. Located in the bay of the same name, this campsite has a beautiful naturist beach, a dog beach, sports fields and a bistro/market. Accommodation is available on pitches close to the sea or in mobile homes with a large outdoor terrace.
