New pitches and sanitary facilities in campsite Glavotok, Krk Island

This somewhat hidden campsite on the western coast of the Krk Island, about halfway between Malinska and the ferry port in Valbiska, offers plenty of natural shade under the oak trees and a beautiful pebble beach.

Campsite Glavotok has been operating for over 60 years and it is one of the first eco-friendly campsites in Croatia. The guests love its quietness and remoteness and the shore is also well protected from the bora winds.

Campsite facilities

There are 3 beaches along the campsite and a heated swimming pool. Children can enjoy the playground and the entertainment program organized by the staff and in recent years new beach volleyball and basketball courts have been set up. There’s even a diving center and the popular trail Camino Krk runs nearby. The campsite is pet friendly and includes a dog beach.

What’s new in 2025

The campsite never gets overcrowded despite its great location and the offer which is continuously improved. This year they are renovating the sanitary facilities: The new modern building will be larger and adapted for children and people with disabilities. It will also include a laundry room and the facilities for campervans. It is supposed to be finished by the end of April.

20 new, larger Comfort pitches will also be landscaped ahead of the new season: With 150 m2 in size and electricity, water and drainage hookups, these will be perfect for larger campervans and caravans.

Camping options

The season starts on 30 April and lasts until 9 November – guests can camp on one of the 330 pitches or choose among 6 types of mobile homes. They range from small units of 18 m2 for couples to larger 36 m2 family homes for 4+2 people. The Luxury Villa even has a jacuzzi on the terrace. All of the mobile homes are pet friendly.

The upper part of the campsite also offers an open camping zone for tents.
