Fun has no age limit, and neither do water parks. They are for both children and adults, although of course they are more popular with children. We adults prefer to relax. And the good news is that even in water parks there is room for relaxation.
We have selected 7 campsites from Istria to Dalmatia that offer water parks. All you have to do is choose a destination and a campsite, and your vacation can begin!
Park Umag, one of the largest family campsites in Istria, has 2 swimming pools and even 2 water parks. For the youngest there is a water park in the shape of a pirate ship, while for the older ones there is a water park with slides and sprinklers.

The campsite Lanterna hosts the Aquamar Lanterna water park, which covers an area of over 1500 m². It has 10 freshwater pools, slides and a pirate ship. You will share this water park with other guests, but if you prefer a more private atmosphere and less crowds, there is a smaller water park with slides in the themed Maro Village, reserved exclusively for the guests of that village.

This 5* resort is home to the Aquamar water park, which covers an area of 1000 m² and consists of 5 heated pools with slides of different heights. For the biggest and most daring, there is a pool with a 10-meter high Twister Slide. For the younger ones there is a pool with a water castle and the little ones can enjoy the covered pool with water toys.

Insider tip:
You can spend all day at the pools. It’s great that there are several pools so it doesn’t get too crowded. For those who want some peace and quiet, I recommend the infinity pool. There is a Mezzino snack bar inside Aquamar where you can grab a bite to eat or have a coffee.

In 2024 it was voted the best campsite for children, therefore from the rich offer of the campsite Polari we will highlight the most interesting for children. The center of entertainment in the campsite is the popular Spray Park, a water park consisting of 3 freshwater pools and a water playground with sprinklers.

Čikat is one of the most popular family campsites in Kvarner. A large part of the credit for this certainly goes to the fact that the campsite is home to Aquapark Čikat. This water park has 6 pools of different depths, adapted to different age groups. There is also the indispensable water castle, waterfalls, jets and a spectacular indoor 110-meter long slide.

Insider tip:
The water park has adrenaline slides loved by teenagers and a pool with model animals ideal for small children. Sometimes there is additional animation in the pools, led by swimmers from the artistic swimming club. The location is ideal for guests staying in the pitches in the upper part of the campsite.
Klemen Hren
Aminess Avalona is the ideal destination for a family vacation at a slightly higher level. Located right by the sea, the campsite’s water park has 3 swimming pools, one of which is covered (for the youngest), 5 slides of various sizes and a water playground with sprinklers.

Insider tip:
The location of the water park is great for guests staying on pitches or in mobile homes in the upper part of the campsite. On the other side of the large pool is an even larger pool with a view of Velebit. There is a massage area in several places, but it is also a little more quiet because there are not many children. The water in the pools is heated. Sun beds are free of charge.
Klemen Hren
The highlight of this family campsite is Aquapark Dalmatia, a water park that covers an impressive 36,000 m². It has recently been extended with an indoor section, which will allow the center to be open all year round. Water slides (some up to 440 meters long!), a lazy river and a water playground are just some of the attractions offered by this spectacular entertainment center.
There is an additional charge for entrance to the water park. Prices for campsite guests are as follows:

– 12,50 € for children from 90 to 120 cm
– Children under 90 cm – free
