What’s new in campsite Amarin for 2025?

Rovinj is a popular tourist destination in Istria, attracting over 4 million visitors each year, and quite a large percentage of them decide on camping. Campsite Amarin is often their first choice, as it has invested heavily in expanding and improving its facilities in recent years. For its efforts, the campsite was awarded the ADAC Superplatz title this year.

Fun for the entire family

This is a family-oriented campsite, with plenty on offer for children, which is getting better every year. In addition to a brand-new reception, a new sports center has recently been built with football, basketball and handball courts. New children’s playgrounds and a climbing wall have been added, and there is also a skate park, table tennis, tennis and beach volleyball courts, and mini golf.

This year, the indoor children’s playroom will be renovated and the children’s entertainment program in the new Ultramarine Kids Club will be further improved.

New swimming pools at Campsite Amarin

The new outdoor pools, sunbathing area and café are expected to open in mid-June, and the indoor part of the complex is expected to open for the 2026 season. There will be four outdoor pools – 2 for swimming and high diving, 2 for children with play areas and a slide – and later an indoor heated pool.

The new pools will thus be an extension of the existing offer of 2 swimming pools and a pebble beach with a pier, from where there is also a taxi boat service to the center of Rovinj. On part of the beach dogs are also allowed, and there is a café and restaurant next to the beach.

Choose your camping style

The campsite has various camping options. For owners of caravans, motorhomes and tents, there are pitches of 100-150m2, equipped with electricity and water, many with drains. The 6 sanitary facilities are modern and well equipped. They have dog showers and allow for the provision of caravans.

The campsite also has a large selection of different types of mobile homes for 4-6 people. These are modern units with all the amenities, 2 or 3 bedrooms, a covered terrace, and some also allow dogs.

The third accommodation option at campsite Amarin is glamping tents for 4 people, with 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. They have a terrace in front with a table, chairs and sun loungers and a hammock. Tents are air-conditioned to keep guests comfortable even in the summer heat.
