Which campsites have swimming pools and water parks?
The water parks within the campsites are intended for campsite guests and are free of charge. The exception is Campsite Amadria Park Šibenik, where you can use the water park for a surcharge (campsite guests can buy tickets at a cheaper price during their stay, not in advance). Are the swimming pools in the Croatian campsites heated?
In some campsites, some pools are heated. The temperature of the heated pools reaches approximately 28 °C. Of course, the temperature of the pool itself depends on weather conditions and air temperature. Campsites with a heated pool in Istria: Lanterna Premium Camping Resort, Istra Premium Camping Resort and Marina Camping Resort. Campsites with a heated pool in Kvarner: Krk Premium Camping Resort and Baška Beach Camping Resort. Camps with a heated pool in Dalmatia (all regions): Campsite Zaton Holiday Resort and Campsite Ugljan.
Is it mandatory to wear a swimming cap in the pools?
A swimming cap is not mandatory at swimming pools or water parks in Croatian campsites.
Are sunbeds and umbrellas charged at swimming pools in Croatian campsites?
Sunbeds and umbrellas in campsites, on the beach or at the pool are charged according to the valid price list of the campsite for the current year. In most cases, the rental price is for 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella, per day. Payment is made every day and depends on availability that day. It is not possible to pre-book sunbeds and umbrellas for the entire stay.
Are pets allowed at the swimming pools in the campsites?
Although most campsites in Croatia are pet-friendly, dogs are not allowed in the pool and they are also prohibited from entering the pool area. It is also strictly forbidden for pets to swim in the pools. You can take your pets to the marked campsite beaches where pets are allowed.
In which campsites can you find pitches with a private pool/jacuzzi?
It is quite rare that campsites offer pitches with a private pool or hydromassage pool. Aminess Avalona Camping Resort on the island of Pag offers private swimming pools on the pitches. San Servolo Resort & Wellness Camping in Istria offers a private jacuzzi on the pitch and pitches with a private bathroom and wellness. In Campsite Bijela Uvala in Istria, on the Superior Mare pitches in the G zone, pitches with private bathrooms are available.
Apart from swimming pools, what other facilities do the campsites offer?
In every campsite you can find equipped sanitary facilities, restaurants, and most of them also have bars, shops, bakeries, pastry shops.. In addition to the listed contents, most campsites have an animation program for children and adults. Most campsites are equipped with children's playgrounds, multipurpose playgrounds, and various fields for sports activities (beach volleyball, soccer, tennis, basketball, etc.). Also, the campsites have various facilities for water sports - a handful of fun activities at sea, pedal boats, kayaking, surfing, diving, inflatable water parks, etc. You can find accurate information about the facilities in the desired campsite on single pages of the campsites.
What is the average price of pitches in campsites with swimming pools and is it necessary to make a reservation in advance?
The average price of a pitch for a family of four in a four-star campsite is €50-70 in pre- and post-season, while in high season the price varies from €90 to €120. Pitch prices are affected by: the number of people, the period of stay, the percentage of occupancy of the campsite, holidays, the level of equipment of the pitch and the location of each pitch (closeness to the sea). The tourist tax is included in the price at certain campsites, while at some it is calculated additionally at the reception of the campsite. An environmental tax is also charged on the islands. Pitches that have connections for electricity, water and drainage do not charge extra for the connections, they are included in the price of the pitch itself. Some pitches in the high season (July and August) are often sold out already at the end of March. For this reason, timely booking during Early Booking, in the period from November to February, is recommended.
What are the conditions for booking and cancellation?
At some campsites, an advance payment or the total amount is required when making a reservation. The amount paid in advance or the total amount is deducted from the bill for the stay in the campsite. For some campsites, you only need to fill in the credit card information. The credit card is valid as a guarantee for the trip and confirmation of the reservation. Most campsites allow free cancellation of reservations up to a few days before the trip. Certain campsites do not allow free cancellation and keep the advance payment or charge the credit card for a certain amount. The exact reservation and cancellation conditions for the desired campsite can be found in the first step of the booking process.
